Hubert H. Humphrey Distinguished Visiting Professor Talk: Ward Sayre, PhD
The Macalester College Economics Department is delighted to announce that Professor Ward Sayre, Ph.D., who holds the Hubert H. Humphrey Distinguished Visiting Professorship this academic year, will give a talk on Thursday, February 17, from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.. The title of Ward’s talk is, "Education for Employment or Revolution? The Causes and Consequences of Labor Market Outcomes in the Middle East."
Following current COVID-19 guidelines from the College, this event will be a hybrid event. If you’re interested in attending virtually, please register online for your link to join the zoom meeting. If you’d like to attend in person, we have a limited number of seats in the Weyerhaeuser Boardroom available - please email Economics Department Coordinator, Emily Richards, indicating your interest in attending the in person talk. A grab-and-go lunch will be provided to those who choose the in person option.
