Are you interested in studying away in Fall 2023 or Spring 2024? We know it feels far away - but all students who wish to study away in the 23-24 academic year are required to attend a First Steps Info Session this fall.  

In this session you will: 

• Meet Center for Study Away staff

• Learn about how the advising and application processes for study away work at Macalester

• Ask questions

• Get started in our online application system

Please join us in the ​​John B. Davis Lecture Hall on the lower level of the Ruth Stricker Dayton Campus Center at one of the below times: 

• • Tuesday, September 13 - 11:45 am-12:45 pm

  • Tuesday, September 13 - 4:45 pm-5:45 pm

  • Wednesday, September 14 - 12pm-1pm 

  • Wedneday, September 14 - 6:30 - 7:30 pm 

A limited number of make-up sessions will be offered later this fall. The deadline to apply to study away for Fall 2023 or Spring 2024 is Monday, December 5, 2022.

Note: if you were already approved to study away this academic year and deferred your study away participation to Fall 2023 or Spring 2024, you do not need to attend one of these sessions.
