Summer Research

Students are awarded competitive stipends to work with a faculty member during 10 weeks in the summer. The stipends are provided from a variety of sources (external faculty grants and internal Macalester endowments). Use the ESRA site to submit your application. Students interested in research are encouraged begin inquiry in the fall for the following summer.

Macalester College provides free housing for students involved in summer research on campus.
