Radical MacACCESS: Documentary Screening—”Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution”
Radical MacACCESS brings awareness to individuals with disabilities at Macalester. Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution is a 2020 American documentary film. Join us for the screening and discussion of the film on Monday, April 8 from 6:00pm – 8:30pm in Humanities 226. Crip Campus is a story about what happens when a group of teens with disabilities discovers a place where instead of facing stigma, they are treated as a whole person. Their meeting eventually leads to the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the implementation of the American with Disabilities Act. We will be enjoying some popcorn during the movie!
