Karine S. Moe

Microeconomics, Labor economics, and Public economics
Professor Moe is a labor economist with particular interests in how the use of time (especially for women and girls) affects labor market outcomes, both in the U.S. and in developing economies. Her most recent research centers on the challenges facing American mothers in the workplace. Professor Moe teaches a variety of courses across the economics curriculum, including courses in the principles of economics, the economics of gender, poverty in the U.S., and labor economics. In her free time, she enjoys golfing, reading, and spending time with her family.
