Research
Courses
Professor Ding’s research focuses on the impact of market structure and market participants’ behavior on asset prices in financial markets. His most recent research centers on application of market microstructure approach to explain exchange rate dynamics and international finance puzzles. He constantly involves students in his research and coauthored publications with students in peer review journals. Ding teaches Principles of Economics, one of the courses in the Department’s core sequence, as well as courses in financial markets, corporate finance and empirical finance. In his spare time he loves cooking, travel and photography.
