We welcome the campus and broader communities to programs that the Annan IGC develops with campus partners to engage themes that emerge from the cornerstone concepts of Macalester’s educational mission.
With programming like the International Roundtable and speakers throughout the year, we invite campus community members to come together to learn about key topics and issues, make connections to their own work, and engage each other for potential collaborations.
International Roundtable
Every October, the Annan IGC hosts the International Roundtable, a community-wide event exploring critical issues related to internationalism, multiculturalism, and community engagement. We invite you to engage with scholars, practitioners, organizers, community members, artists, and performers through panels, discussions, workshops, community visits, and reading groups. Students are invited to propose and create sessions for the IRT.
Equity: Justice, and Difference at Home and Abroad: IGC Seminar Series
This series opens space for campus and community to engage with speakers and panels throughout the year in events sponsored by the Annan IGC in collaboration with other departments and offices.
