Sunday, September 29, 4:00 p.m. - IRT Reading Groups consisting of Macalester staff and faculty participants will meet in 8 groups to discuss Other: An Asian and Pacific Islander Prisoner’s Anthology, by Eddy Zheng, Terrorizing Latina/o Immigrants: Race, Gender and Immigration Policy, by Anna Sampaio, Our History is the Future: Standing Rock versus the Dakota Access Pipeline, and the Long Tradition of Indigenous Resistance, by Nick Estes, or The New Jim Crow and the documentary, 13th.

- IRT Reflection Groups with student, staff and faculty participants will meet once before the International Roundtable, will attend to IRT sessions together, and will meet once after the IRT to experience and reflect together of the themes and presentations on Incarceration (Un)Interrupted: Reclaiming Bodies, Lands and Communities. Student may fill out this IRT 2019 Reflection Group Registration Google Form to register.
