Simi Kaur

Simi is a Master’s counseling practicum student from the University of Saint Thomas.  She is an advocate for marginalized and minority communities. Simi has a strong interest in working with the college population and uses her voice to raise awareness about mental health crises in students. She uses a multicultural lens with a person-centered approach to individualize counseling for each person. Simi wants to create a safe space for students to share their struggles and goals, allowing collaboration in the therapeutic space. She has a special interest in working with student athletes, minority communities, and women and children.
