Health Promotion

Health Promotion evolved from the larger field of public health and is considered a core strategy in public health work. Rather than focusing on modifying individual behavior, Health Promotion seeks to address a wide range of social and environmental interventions. In partnership, Health Promotion works to build public policies, create supportive environments, and strengthen community action.

Health Promotion collaboratively works with partners through committees and community building to change policy, build systems, and remove barriers for health and well-being. We also offer a series of workshops and developmental opportunities. Learn more about our offerings and how to get involved below!
