Eric Muschler
High Winds Fund Committee Member
Eric Muschler joined GMHF in late 2021 as the Director of Housing & Health Equity, a new position that explores the multiple connections and benefits of housing with social determinants of health. He had served the Twin Cities community as a program officer with the McKnight Foundation for 15 years, always driving toward expanding economic opportunity for people of color and low-income communities. Prior to joining the Foundation, Eric founded the Michigan Individual Development Accounts (IDA) Partnership and Michigan’s Asset Building Policy Project. He holds a master’s in community planning from the University of Cincinnati and a bachelor’s degree from Macalester College. He was also a Center for Community Investment (CCI) Fulcrum Fellow studying mission investment and integrated grantmaking to advance opportunity.
