Maureen Michalski

Maureen Michalski, a 2000 alumna, is Vice President of Development for Ryan Companies, and the executive in charge of Ford Site redevelopment in St. Paul, She is responsible for site selection, land acquisition, constraint analysis, due diligence, financial feasibility, municipal approvals, design and construction coordination and lease/sale negotiations. Maureen’s development leadership experience includes multifamily, mixed-use and office with wide-ranging financing and ownership structures.
Prior to joining Ryan Companies, Maureen was VP of Development for Schafer Richardson. Maureen worked both nationally and locally on the development of multifamily affordable housing.
In 2017 Maureen was honored by the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal as a “40 under 40” leader. Maureen is active member of the Urban Land Institute, participating on the local Housing Council, acting as a mentor for the Real Estate Diversity Initiative (REDI) and volunteering as an advisor to municipalities through ULI’s Navigating the New Normal program. Maureen is also a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NIAOP) and is a founding member of Women in Real Estate Development and Urban Planning (WIRED UP).
Maureen lives in Minneapolis with her husband and two children.
