The Legal Plan offers employees unlimited telephone advice and office consultations on virtually any personal legal matter. The Legal Plan is administered by MetLife Legal Plans, the largest provider of group legal plans in the United States and has been in business for over 30 years.
Macalester employees with a 0.50 FTE or higher are eligible for coverage. All coverage would include spouses and dependents.

The Legal Plan offers employees unlimited telephone advice and office consultations on virtually any personal legal matter. When using one of the Legal Plan’s 18,000 attorneys for a covered legal matter, the attorney’s fees are fully covered. No claim forms are needed. An out-of-network attorney option is also available.
