After Macalester
After Macalester, students pursue a variety of options in graduate school and employment. A poll of recent graduates showed that they had these future plans:
- Linh Vo ’18 (Hanoi, Vietnam), is an associate at IDinsight.
- Dagmara Franczak ’17 (Suwałki, Poland), is pursuing a master’s in public policy at University College in London.
- Kava Garcia Vasquez ’17 (The Bronx, N.Y.), was awarded a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship. Her project is called “Skate(board) into the Sun With Me,” and with it she’ll travel to Sweden, Spain, Cambodia, South Korea, and South Africa.
- Shay Gingras ’17 (Eastford, Conn.), is program director for YMCA Camp Woodstock in Woodstock, Conn.
- Allison Korbey ’17 (Brooklyn, N.Y.), works in global marketing with Estée Lauder in New York City.
- Christina Moore ’17 (Los Alamos, N.M.), received an English Teaching Assistant Fulbright to Germany.
- Elizaveta Bekmanis ’16 (Hannover, Germany) is pursuing a master’s at Graduate Institute for International Affairs, Geneva, Switzerland.
- Jillian Neuberger ’16 (New Canaan, Conn.) is a project associate with Dexis Consulting Group in Washington, D.C.
- Jacob Phillips ’16 (Kingston, Jamaica) is a Princeton in Latin America fellow, working with Yspaniola in the Dominican Republic.
- Kendall Van Sistine ’16 (Oshkosh, Wis.) is pursing a master’s in education from Johns Hopkins University through the Urban Teachers teaching residency program in Washington, D.C.
- Helena Bruce ’15 (Eau Claire, Wis.) is a fellow at the CDC in the Public Health Associate program in Atlanta.
- Charnelle Etti ’15 (Cottage Grove, Minn.) received a Princeton in Africa Fellowship.
- Jonah Freed ’15 (Oak Park, Ill.) joined the Peace Corps in Peru.
- Irene Gibson ’15 (Carmel, Ind.) Fulbright research grant, Kuwait, recipient. She is pursuing a PhD in philosophy at Oxford University.
- Mary Hellmich ’15 (Versailles, Ky.) won an English Teaching Assistantship to Spain.
- Margaret Joyce ’15 (Atlanta, Ga.) Fulbright, English Teaching Assistantship, Germany.
- Cameron Kesinger ’15 (Sammamish, Wash) received an English Teaching Assistantship to Brazil.
- Salman Haji ’14 (Albuquerque, N.M.), is a Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellow at U.S. Department of State, American University in Washington, D.C.
- Brittany Landorf ’14 (Eau Claire, Wis) won an English Teaching Assistantship to Turkey.
- Ruxi Zhang ’14 (Cambridge, Ontario) is attending graduate school in political science at Stanford University.
- Hannah McIntire ’13 (Milford, Conn.), completed her Masters of Education Policy and Management at Harvard University Graduate School of Education. She is the manager of Capacity Building and Organizational Learning for Arab-American Family Support Center in Brooklyn, NY.
