Laurie O’Brien

Laurie is available to support international students regarding their SEVIS status and through their adjustment in the United States and at Macalester College. She is from France and was an international student herself. She has been living in the Twin Cities since 2017. Before moving to the U.S., she taught students from around the world in Paris. Prior to being a ISP coordinator, Laurie worked at the French and Francophone Studies department at Macalester. She also taught French at Hamline University, University of Minnesota, and various elementary schools in the Twin City area.

She holds a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Linguistics.
