Adobe Creative Cloud
Licenses are available for students, faculty and staff for this industry-leading multimedia suite. Includes access to applications ranging from video editing (Premiere) to print layout (InDesign) to photo editing (Photoshop).
Audacity
Free, open source audio editing. Great for podcast production and audio storytelling. Compatible on Mac, PC, Linux.
Drone Photo/Video
We have a drone available for faculty or class use. We can provide offer consultation, training and, in limited circumstances, photography or videography.
ThingLink
An interactive images platform that’s great for virtual tours, hotspots, and visual annotations. We have a limited number of licenses. Contact us if interested.
WeVideo
Cloud-based video editing. Built-in, real-time collaboration! Email us if you’d like to a license for the Macalester account.

Flourish
Flourish is a quick and easy to use web-based data visualization tool. They offer free accounts to create public interactive visualizations.
Knight Lab Tools
Knight Lab is a collaborative community at Northwestern University that has created several innovative open-source tools for media makers. These tools, including the popular Timeline.js, are focused on storytelling and sharing information in creative and effective ways.
ArcGIS StoryMaps
StoryMaps is a web-based platform developed by ArcGIS to share longform digital stories, with a focus on including maps and other types of interactive media. Students, faculty, and staff have access to StoryMaps through Macalester.

Adobe Premiere
Transcribe speech to text or create captions in several languages using Adobe Premiere. You can access Premiere in the DRC and the Idea Lab, and can request a license on the ITS Help Portal.
