How Academic Information Associates Support Faculty
Academic Technology Services (ATS) is a specialized team within ITS whose mission is to engage with faculty and their students in the thoughtful integration of technology into learning, teaching, and research. In particular, Academic Technology Services can help with:
- Using Macalester’s learning management system, Moodle, to support student learning.
- Supporting faculty scholarship.
- Advising and assisting faculty with teaching and research projects as part of the Digital Liberal Arts team.
- Strategizing about the best technologies for faculty scholarship and classroom activities and supporting pedagogical strategies with appropriate technology.
- Consulting with faculty on new technology purchases.
