Academic Technology Services

Academic Technology Services (ATS) is a specialized team within ITS whose mission is to engage with faculty and their students in the thoughtful integration of technology into learning, teaching, and research. In particular, Academic Technology Services can help with:

  • Using Macalester’s learning management system, Moodle, to support student learning.
  • Supporting scholarship and pedagogy with appropriate technology.
  • Advising and assisting with digital projects as part of the Digital Liberal Arts team.
  • Strategizing about the best tools for teaching and research.
  • Consulting with faculty on new technology purchases.
