Spooky Stories at the DRC

Curious about the DRC’s recording booths? Looking to meet some new people and enjoy some Halloween vibes? Swing by the DRC on Friday, October 25th from 12:00 – 1:00 and contribute to a collaborative spooky story recorded with Audacity!

Following the exquisite corpse format, each person will add to the story without knowing more than the last line. Participants will learn about recording and audio editing with Audacity and collaboratively record and edit a wacky story.

Halloween snacks, music, and spooky vibes provided. RSVP here or join us day-of!

3D PRINTING BASICS

Want to learn to use the 3D printing resources available at the DRC? Come in and listen to this quick tutorial as DRC’s print leads approach 3D printing in a lighthearted way. No previous knowledge necessary! Leave with access to the printers!

Decorate Your Dorm! Learn to Make a Poster in Adobe Illustrator

Come on down to the DRC for a workshop on the basics of Adobe Illustrator. You’ll learn enough to design your own poster, and then we’ll print it out on quality paper for you to take home. Join us at the DRC on September 20 @ 1:15 p.m.

The DRC hosts workshops on different technologies and topics throughout the semester. This schedule will be updated throughout the semester with additional offerings.
