Programming & Involvement

Getting involved on campus is a great way to enhance your college experience, help you build connections, and develop essential skills outside of academics. Learn more about the variety of events and programs that the Center for Student Leadership and Engagement have available for Macalester students.

Program Board

From organizing well-beloved traditions such as Bingo for Books, Winter Ball, Pushball, and Springfest to creating new events like Food Festival, Drag @ Mac, Coffee House Jam, and speaker events, Program Board members work collaboratively with other student organizations and departments to provide (on and off campus) educational, social and cultural programming to Mac students.

Campus Center After Dark

Campus Center After Dark is a late-night program occurring on weekends during evening hours in The Campus Center. This late-night program provides students the opportunity for creative expression, to engage with the community and expand their learning. Macalester students, student organizations and campus departments can apply to host an event with The Campus Center team.

Partners in Programming

Partners in Programming is an effort to increase student programming in the Campus Center. We recognize that the exclusive catering policy in the Campus Center can hinder student events from happening in the building. Funds can be granted to any amount of up to $500 for a recognized student organization.
