How can I request an annual allocation?
Step 1: Attend a Budget Workshop
During the budget workshop, we will cover a variety of important topics, including the information in the following videos:

- How to Check if you have Involve Finance Access (4 min)
- How to Complete the Involve Annual Allocation form (20 min)
- Make a copy of the Budget Template Worksheet – This doc can be used as “scratch paper” to draft your budget before you complete the official request in Involve.
Budget Workshops will be hosted in the Spring semester (times and locations to be confirmed at a later date):
Step 2: Connect with your FAC Liaisons to review your budget draft by early March.
We recommend you fill out the budget template worksheet linked above prior to this meeting.
Step 3: Submit your Annual Allocation request on Involve.

Step 4: Present your Budget Request to MCSG
If your request is under $4000, attend Budget Bonanza (March 29-30, 2025) to present your request to FAC at an assigned time slot. If your request is over $4000 you will need to also present your request on March 27, 2025 at the Legislative Body MCSG meeting. If you cannot attend the meeting where your organization’s budget request will be presented, your FAC Liaisons will present the org’s request on your behalf; please notify the liaison at least 48 hours in advance if you are unable to attend.
Step 6: Orgs notified of FAC budget decisions
If you need to appeal your budget decision, contact [email protected]. Orgs who appeal the decision will present budget appeals/amendments to the MCSG Legislative Body on April 10, 2025.
