Welcome to Science and Quantitative Support in the MAX Center! This unit of the MAX Center includes professional staff, peer tutors, and Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leaders who offer individualized and group support for students seeking assistance in their classes in the Chemistry, Biology, MSCS and Economics departments.

We provide free drop-in tutoring for students during our open hours. Log into our Slate portal with your 1600Grand credentials to see when our tutors are available. You do not need to make an appointment; all of our tutoring support is drop-in. You can also check out our subject specific web pages for more information about which courses our tutors support.  If you are unsure or have other Quantitative or Science-related questions, contact the professional staff, Dave Ehren or Stephanie Alden.
