Professor Johnson’s primary scholarly interests are in Bayesian statistics, data science, and statistics education. She is the co-author of the Bayes Rules! book which introduces the power of Bayesian statistics to wider audiences. It reflects her teaching philosophy that learning should be inclusive, fun, and reflective. She also enjoys exploring, and helping others explore, the unlimited applications of statistics and data science. Her collaborations have spanned the fields of entomology, public art, forestry, primatology, public health, and more.
