In this video, Bill Moseley, professor of geography, discusses the recent COVID-19 pandemic in relation to food security in both North America and Africa. Moseley is a member of the high level panel of experts (HLPE), a scientific advisory board to the UN Committee on World Food Security, that released an emergency brief about this subject and the implications of COVID-19 for global food security.
