Professor Amy Damon receives Jack and Marty Rossmann Excellence in Teaching Award Dr. Amy Damon, professor of Economics and Latin American Studies, received the award. United World Colleges leader will be keynote speaker for 2023 Commencement Macalester College is pleased to announce that Faith Abiodun will be the keynote speaker for the 2023 Commencement ceremony. Abiodun will also receive an honorary degree. Professor Satoko Suzuki is the 2023 Jefferson Award recipient The award was established in 1961 by the Robert Earll McConnell Foundation to honor members of the Macalester community who exemplify the principles and ideals of the third President of the United States.
