Make sure you fully understand what you are responsible for in a sublease agreement and what the previous tenants are responsible for. An agreement should include move in/out dates, rent per month, and which party is responsible for utilities, internet, and garbage and other responsibilities.  The Office of Student Affairs is not responsible for issues arising due to subletter agreements, or lack thereof.  Always verify that the landlord/owner of the property approves of subletting before signing a subletting agreement.
