Laina is partnering with Food Alliance Midwest (FAM), a regional branch of a
national non-profit
which certifies farms, ranches and food handlers for sustainable agricultural and business practices. While certification efforts have been largely successful, one of FAM’s biggest challenges is its lack of media exposure and name recognition. This summer Laina is working on a media relations campaign, developing a model which will be used regionally and will hopefully be adopted on a national level.
