All alumni are invited to join the Macalester community as we celebrate Reunion 2025. Our four-day programming includes panels and office hours with faculty and staff, dance parties, campus tours, and opportunities to connect with your class. This year, we are recognizing classes celebrating 5 year milestone reunions: 1955, 1960, 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020. These classes will be recognized on campus throughout the weekend.
In addition, Reunion 2025 will be celebrating the Alumni of Color Reunion, with most events taking place on Friday, June 6th.
Not in a milestone Reunion year? No problem! We’ve redesigned Reunion to allow plenty of time to gather in community together to learn, remember, and have fun! We hope to see you back on campus. The Macalester Oral History Program enriches the College Archives by capturing the stories of alumni. During Reunion, the Alumni of Color Reunion and 50th Reunion classes participate in group interviews, preserving their memories for future generations. Led by experienced volunteer interviewers, these conversations explore first impressions, campus life, and the times they lived through—no preparation needed, just stories waiting to be shared!2 – 3:30 p.m. – Alumni of Color Dance and Movement followed by Sound Bath

Join Sister Patricia Brown for a journey of expressive movement through dance, connection with community and shared experience, followed by a deeply relaxing Sound Bath provided by our Buddhist Chaplain, Rev. Marc Anderson, using instruments including crystal singing bowls and gongs. Experience stress reduction and relaxation, full body release of energy through physical movement and deep inner calm in a meditative setting. Space is limited. No street shoes allowed.
