Mads Clark (they/them) serves as the Associate Director of the Lealtad-Suzuki Center for Social Justice. Mads comes from a background working with LGBTQIA2S+ student support, advocacy, and education as well as mutual aid and community education roles both in higher education and in the Twin Cities. They earned their master’s degree from the University of St. Thomas in Leadership in Student Affairs and a bachelor’s degree from Hamline University in Communication Studies and Social Justice. Their direct interests and work are influenced by queer resiliency, abolition and restorative justice movements, and the pursuit of community building through transformative healing and learning.
