Introducing Our Strategic Planning Champions, Invitation to Strategic Planning Town Halls

Dear Macalester Community,

We received an enthusiastic response to our call for volunteer Strategic Planning Champion applications, and are excited to introduce you to the members of our community who will serve in this role. As liaisons between their constituents and the college’s senior leadership team, they will be responsible for reading and learning, gathering input and feedback, organizing findings, identifying themes emerging from the process, meeting with Macalester’s senior leaders, and communicating updates back to their constituents.

The members of this group were selected by the college’s senior staff using the criteria outlined in the Champion role description, and will serve in the role through this academic year. We are delighted to partner with them to seek your input on priorities for the college’s future.

In addition, we’d like to invite you to join us for one of two strategic planning town halls at the end of January. During these sessions, President Rivera and Provost Anderson-Levy will share an update on the strategic planning process, answer questions, and solicit feedback from participants.

If you are unable to register for the webinar designated for your group, you are welcome to register for either session, but know that the Q&A will be tailored for that session’s audience.
