Twin Cities Advisory Task Force

The purpose of the Macalester Twin Cities Advisory Task Force is to identify local community strategic direction that supports the college’s goals and builds more local connections with donors, alumni, corporate, foundation and organization partners. Under the leadership of President Rivera, the college has made a commitment to engage more deeply with partner institutions in Saint Paul and throughout the Twin Cities metro area to contribute to economic development and to the wellbeing of residents.

This advisory task force will work directly with Development in tandem with the creation of local organization alumni clubs, an on-campus corporate relations working group, and a potential Westminster speaker series. In addition, the advisory task force will have the opportunity to provide input on the strategic planning for the college, especially as it relates to creating a sense of place and increasing connections to Minneapolis/St Paul.
