The English Department’s student workers are back! In the flesh! We’re ready to offer you a delicious bagel, brew you a toasty cup of coffee, laugh (or grimace) at your literary puns, and kick some life back into our beloved second floor of Old Main as we embark on this new year.
This semester, Kira Schukar ‘22, Dalton Greene ‘22, and I (Alice Asch ‘22) will serve as your senior Words editors. We’re joined by fellow newsletter staff members Patrick Coy-Bjork ‘23, Chloe Moore ‘24 (both returnee student workers, but new to The Words), and Zoe Scheurman ‘24 (new to The Words and the student work team).
Chloe and Patrick will also resume their positions as social media strategists, working their tech magic to (hopefully) transform the English Department into an internet sensation. Kira, together with Anna Chu ‘22 (both talented audio storytellers), will continue to produce our podcast, The Ramblings. And Hilary Kaufman ‘23 has moved up the ranks to Office Manager, accompanied by three lovely, dedicated Office Assistants, all brand new to the department: Birdie Keller ‘25, Charley Eatchel ‘24, and Winnie Hilker ‘25.
Last, but certainly not least, we’re happy to announce that Dalton has recently been appointed as the department’s first-ever Communications Liaison!
You can read more about the Fall 2021 student work team below. We can’t wait to see you around Old Main!
