Introduction from Lydia Schmelzer

Hi! I’m Lydia (she/her) and I am a senior English literature major from New York City. This is my second year working for the English department and I am super excited to be a newsletter editor this semester.  I love working in the department and being a major because everyone is so friendly and welcoming! I’m specifically looking forward to coffee houses this year, and to eat snacks and be cozy with other English majors. When I am not working in the department, I like to cook, do yoga and watch movies with my friends. Very excited about this upcoming semester!
