Jill Lile is a lifelong dance educator interested in instilling the techniques, creative expression, and discipline of dance to students of all ages. She has served on the faculties of Macalester College, Creighton University, University of Nebraska/ Lincoln, University of Minnesota/Mankato, Minnesota Dance Theatre, and St. Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists. She has danced with Fort Worth Ballet, Illinois Dance Theatre, Beverly Blossom and Company, Madison Ballet, and Ballet Arts Minnesota and was a two-time recipient of the National Association for Regional Ballet’s Craft of Choreography Award. Additionally, Dr. Lile directed Hippocrates Center for Holistic Healing for twenty years where she was a chiropractor and acupuncturist specializing in dance injury and prevention. She is also trained in Alexander Technique and is a certified Pilates instructor. Because of her medical and somatics background, she brings a unique set of skills to the dance classroom.
