ARTSEARCH via Theatre Communications Group
ARTSEARCH is an essential source for a career in the arts. With ARTSEARCH, you can search for jobs and navigate information about the jobs, organizations, and application processes. ARTSEARCH is a feature provided by TCG (Theatre Communications Group).
Below, you will find a link and instructions on how to create a TCG account which grants you access to ARTSEARCH. THDA has provided students with a coupon code to make a membership free.

Handshake via Macalester Career Exploration
Handshake at Macalester is our career and internship services platform. No need to create an account — just log into Handshake with your Macalester user ID and password. You can use Handshake to:
- Find and apply for internship and job openings.
- Learn about organizations hiring.
- Make an appointment to meet with a Career Exploration counselor.
- Register your internship for academic credit.
- Check out and register for upcoming campus events.

Springboard for the Arts Job Board
Springboard for the Arts is an economic and community development organization for artists and by artists. Springboard for the Arts’ mission is to cultivate vibrant communities by connecting artists with the skills, information, and services they need to make a living and a life.
Springboard has a job board upon which many arts-based nonprofits and local theaters make opportunities accessible to all. There is no login necessary, though you can subscribe to emails from SftA.

Minnesota Council of Nonprofits Job Board
The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN) convenes nonprofits in order to assist with information needs and address issues facing the sector. Their mission is to inform, promote, connect, and strengthen nonprofits.
MCN could be helpful for a more general job/internship search via their job board, linked below. Nonprofits theaters are likely to have opportunities for employment posted on MCN’s job board frequently. There is no login necessary.

National New Play Network – New Play Exchange
The New Play Exchange ® (NPX) is the world’s largest digital library of scripts by living writers. The NPX, a National New Play Network program, is flipping the script on the ways in which new work is shared and discovered. The mission of the New Play Exchange® is to provide an open, egalitarian platform on which writers all over the world can share their work and others can discover that work.
The Minnesota Playwrights’ Center is a partner of the NNPN and Jack Reuler, Mac alum and Artistic Director of Mixed Blood, is a board member and past Co-President of the National New Play Network.
